Akron Children's Hospital will premiere a live, one-hour Webcast about arthroscopic surgery to stabilize a dislocated shoulder on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at 5 p.m.
The Webcast will feature video of a high school football player undergoing a Bankart repair, followed by a live, interactive panel discussion with Akron Children's Hospital's orthopedic surgeon Kerwyn Jones, M.D., and sports medicine director, Joe Congeni, M.D. Pediatric orthopedic surgeon Todd Ritzman, M.D., will serve as the moderator of the panel, and viewers are encouraged to e-mail questions to the panel during the Webcast.
